History

1999 EmailCash is incorporated in Sydney, Australia in June of 1999.
By December of 1999 the membership has grown to over 50,000.

2000 In June of 2000, EmailCash is ranked as the 'Number 1 Stickiest Web Site Visited by Australians' by Roy Morgan Research, beating many other large portals.
In August of 2000, EmailCash is ranked as 'Number 1 Marketing Web Site' by Hitwise.
EmailCash reaches 100,000 members.
EmailCash by now has over 100 reward partners, including many big name Australian e-commerce sites.

2001 Membership now exceeds 150,000 members.

2002 In August, membership soars to over 200,000 registered Australian members.
By November of 2002, EmailCash has been ranked 8th in Australia in terms of page impressions by independent web site stats company Hitwise. According to the same source, EmailCash enjoys a 30% jump in unique web site visitors over last month, up to 467,000 uniques in total.

2003 January sees EmailCash rated as the 2nd most favourite web site as voted by Australian Netguide readers.
February sees EmailCash ranked as Hitwise's 'Number 1 Computers and Internet - Paid to Surf Web Site'. This ranking is based on Australian sites visited by Australians.
In March, a new brand 'SmileCity' is launched in a new market as EmailCash expands to New Zealand.
Red Sheriff ranks EmailCash as 'Australia's 2nd Most Wanted Entertainment Site', beating web sites such as City Search, Greater Union, SMH Entertainment, Hoyts and Ticketek.
April sees EmailCash recognised as Australia's largest online research panel. EmailCash also establishes a close working alliance with a global research company.

2004 Early 2004 sees SmileCity become the number 1 online loyalty programme in New Zealand.
By May of 2004, over 3,000 individual online research cases have been successfully conducted through EmailCash.
In September, EmailCash moves to new offices in North Sydney to allow for a growing staff base.
October 2004 and the company opens a new web site in Taiwan, branded EmailCash.com.tw.
EmailCash is also ranked 40th in the prestigious BRW Magazine Fast 100.

2005 To support the growth of the Taiwan brand, a new office is opened in Taipei, Taiwan.
In August of 2005, SmileCity New Zealand hits the magic number of 100,000 members.
EmailCash is again listed in the BRW Magazine Fast 100, this time ranked 71st.
In November, the new 'PermissionCorp' brand is born, bringing all three web sites - EmailCash Australia, SmileCity New Zealand, and EmailCash Taiwan - under one global umbrella.

2006 PermissionCorp launches Rewards Central in the United Kingdom in February 2006.
In May, a new initiative called SmileCity HealthCare is launched in the New Zealand market, allowing consumers to receive health-related information and offers direct to their inbox.

2007 SmileCity wins Site of the Year in the 2007 People's Choice NetGuide Web Awards.

2008 To better suit the nature of the program, EmailCash Australia is re-branded to become RewardsCentral Australia.
PermissionCorp launches a pure "research-only" panel called MyOpinions in Australia.
