Bob Cheng Finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of The Year Awards (Eastern Region - NSW & ACT)June 2006
Bob Cheng, Founder and Managing Director of PermissionCorp has been selected as a regional finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards for 2006.The winners from each of the five regions in Australia become finalists in the National award program with national winners in each category and one overall winner selected as the Australian National Entrepreneur Of The Year. The Australian Entrepreneur Of The Year is then invited to attend the World Entrepreneur Of The Year awards. Entrepreneur Of The Year is the only Australian business award program that promotes the national winner into an international competition. Since this global Ernst & Young program started in Australia in 2001, some 417 leading Australian entrepreneurs have been recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit, with entrants assessed by a leading panel of independent judges on their innovation, integrity, influence, strategic direction and national/global impact. Their relationships with their local communities are also taken into account.
